The Great Mosque of At-Taqwa Kutacane has a 10,000 watt sound system, internet, decorative lights on the outside and inside of the mosque, various calligraphy, fountains, decorative lights in the form of flowers, four towers, five main domes, 15 companion domes, granite laxmi red for the inner floor, black gold granite for the outer floor, the formations/decorations of GRC (a mixture of cement and fiber) with Alas Gayo motifs, teak wood motifs, and Al-Fatihah writings also from GRC.

The mosque, which is now the pride of the people of Southeast Aceh, was designed by H Hasanuddin B MM, the former Regent of Southeast Aceh. Hasanuddin, who is also the former chairman of the Southeast Aceh Golkar Party DPD, is known as the father of development and has received many awards.
The At-Taqwa Great Mosque was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dr H Ade Komaruddin MH, on April 8, 2016. The planning for the construction of the At-Taqwa Great Mosque itself was carried out in 2009. The realization took place six years in a row with funds from the APBK and APBA.
