Ketambe Adventure - Pemamanan is a traditional ritual tradition carried out by the Alas tribe community from Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, Aceh Darussalam Province in the form of a circumcision procession carried out on young boys. The term security cannot be separated from the words "uncle" or mother's older brother. The people of Alas believe that the uncle is the person responsible for the circumcision and wedding celebrations for his nephew. This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation for decades by the Alas tribe. Boys who will be circumcised in peusijuk or in Malay are often called plain flour first. The funeral procession is carried out for seven days and seven nights, there are also those who do it for four days and four nights, depending on the ability of the family of the man carrying out this traditional ritual procession. Just like a wedding party which is held from the first, second, third and sixth days, the house where the celebration is being held is crowded with relatives from the father's and mother's side, as well as the village community.
If the security is carried out in a luxurious manner, the family slaughters one or two oxen/buffalo which are cooked collaboratively with other dishes. On the seventh day of the ceremony, the next event was held in the form of a procession riding horses carrying the "bride" who was circumcised. Then the family group will go to the house of their mother's brother and present them with a horse. The number of horses as a gift is adjusted to the agreement desired by the parents who are having the celebration. And that night, the "bride" was circumcised and then circumcised by the orderly. After that, the circumcised "bride" is put to sleep on a mattress with a mosquito net made from traditional cloth from the Alas community. The mosquito net mat is in the living room with a rope tied to it in the middle, which is used as a place to hang traditional clothes that have been worn.
